ACC is currently looking to hire a Student Success Coach for their Applied Plumbing Installation program in Garden Hill First Nation.

Be Passionate and Take Initiative with these Responsibilities:

· Engage directly with students to as they adapt to classroom education by balancing priorities

· Help students identify skills for success by identifying their interests and abilities

· Help students identify educational requirements in their courses and develop training plans

· Work with the Instructor to ensure student success and connect them with ACC supports

· Develop employment and career plans with students as they complete their practicum and graduate

Be able to deliver results by having:

· Post-secondary diploma in an education-related field is preferred

· Experience working with adults in an educational setting is preferred

· Knowledge of both employability and essential skills for Plumbers

· Ability to work cooperatively with instructional staff, community partners and training organizations.

· Strong interpersonal skills to work with students in developing innovative solutions and plans.

· Demonstrated patience and non-judgemental listening skills
