Tasty Italia, May 20 - June 2, 2024

Tasty Italia

Assiniboine International and the Russ Edwards School of Agriculture & Environment are teaming up with Centro Studi Italiani to deliver a two-week Tasty Italia program in Italy. Yes, Italy! The dates for this trip are scheduled for May 20 to June 2, 2024.

Tasty Italia is a two-week study abroad experience focusing on the social, economic and environmental justice of the culinary heritage of Italy. This trip focuses on the ‘field to fork’ teachings that this country has to offer, which is why it aligns so well for students across a wide range of programs at Assinboine.

Tasty Italia

This trip offers a jam-packed itinerary including Italian language classes (for beginners), teachings about Italy’s culinary heritage and traditions, guided tours where you’ll learn more about the agriculture of Italy and how foods are grown with sustainability in mind, meetings with local culinary experts, food tasting, and even some cooking classes! And to top it all off, you’ll have some spare time to explore Rome before flying home.
